Job Summary:
This position is responsible for providing instruction and serving as advisor to students enrolled in the Accounting Assistant Program each semester and may include summer assignments.

Minimum Qualifications
Education and Experience:
Master’s Degree in Accounting or related area and two years of recent experience in accounting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Demonstrated sensitivity to the needs of students, faculty, and staff from multi-cultural backgrounds.
Required License and/or Certifications:
Must possess or be able to obtain Idaho state professional technical teaching certification.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Strong skills in QuickBooks Online, Payroll, or Cost Accounting.
• Expert knowledge of the accounting cycle and GAAP.
• Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
• Ability to use a personal computer and associated peripherals and current version of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office, Internet, and alternative delivery systems (e.
g.
, internet and interactive video) at a proficient level.
• Ability to operate standard office equipment including phone and copier
