Extra-curricular activities enhance student learning and engagement with their school and community.
Stipend for this coach position for FY24 was $5,815 - FY25 stipends have not been approved at this time.

As the Head Coach, you'll be responsible to set expectations for students, provide training on the individual sport and coordinate scheduling for sporting events.
LPOSD is well supported by the community, and there are many parents and other community members who regularly volunteer in our schools.

Minimum Qualifications Possession of Idaho Teaching, Pupil Services or Administrator, Credential preferred National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) Coach Certification Course yearly with current certification in employee’s file.
NFHS Student Mental Health & Suicide Prevention Course yearly with current certification in employee’s file.
St.
Luke’s Concussion Course yearly with current certification in employee’s file.
First Aid & CPR Certification, concussion, and other State required training within 90 days of hire, and maintenance of current certificate thereafter.
Ability to work effectively with students, staff, parents/guardians and other stakeholders Previous coaching experience in related sport preferred Lake Pend Oreille School District reserves the right to close this position prior to the posted Application Deadline at its discretion.
LPOSD will accord a preference to employment of veterans of the U.
S.
Armed Services in accord with provisions of Idaho Code 65-503 or it successor.
