Paralegal
eLegacy is an estate planning law firm, servicing clients from multiple states.
We are seeking a professional and caring individual to join our team to facilitate estate planning matters for our clients.
Job Duties
Ability to draft professionally written legal correspondence
Prepare estate planning documents for attorneys using WealthDocx® templates
Organize and maintain documents in an electronic filing system
Meet with clients, attorneys, and other professionals to discuss matter details
Discuss draft revisions with clients and make appropriate changes to documents
Draft and e-file court documents for probate matters (occasionally)
Close communication with clients and financial advisors to coordinate funding of trusts
Other duties as assigned
Desirable Qualifications
Certificate of completion from an ABA-approved paralegal certification program, OR
Two years' experience as a paralegal, OR
An Associate Degree in paralegal studies, OR
A Bachelor’s Degree in related studies.
Experience in WealthDocx® drafting software a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel
Experience with Adobe Acrobat software
Experience with estate planning
Experience with probate law a plus
Extreme attention to detail
Strong oral and written communication skills
Cool under pressure and always helpful with clients – clients come first
Must be able to effectively multi-task, manage time-sensitive matters, and exhibit exceptional organizational skills in a fast-paced environment
Pay Range
$22.
00 per hour DOE
36-40 hours per week.
Regular hours will be Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm and Friday 8am-12pm.

Paid Major Holidays (6-7 per year, depending on the calendar)
One (1) Paid Floating Holiday
Two (2) weeks of Vacation & one (1) week of Personal/Sick time per year (based on full-time employment)
Supplemental Insurance with employer paying $100 per month, after 60 days of employment
401k Eligibility and Employer Match after one (1) year of employment
Complimentary Estate Plan (Trust or Will Plan) after 90 days of employment
