93 per hour Job Description The Senior Facilities Technician position oversees the day to day operational tasks of the Facilities Department, maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail to ensure all facilities are kept to the established standards of the department.
This position supports the Facilities department goals and ensures that those goals remain in alignment with the organization’s goals and objectives.
Core Job Requirements/Outcomes Provide guidance and leadership to all members of the Facilities team through leading by example, teamwork, mentorship, and collaboration, all in the common interest to achieving the Facility Department’s and organizations goals.
Ensure all daily, weekly, monthly, and annual operational tasks of the organization are completed and properly recorded by using the Facilities Departments HIPPO, Service Desk, and other departmental procedures outlined by the Facilities Manager.
Establish and maintain quality and cost-effective vendor relationships by ensuring the facilities are safe, secure, functional, and consistently project STCU's quality image.
Coordinate, plan, budget and schedule facility modifications including cost estimates, bid sheets, layouts, and contracts for construction, improvements and acquisitions as required by working closely with leadership.
Other Essential Functions Take an active role in coordinating, prioritizing, and planning maintenance and repair projects for the existing facilities and equipment.
Maintain, test, and operate the emergency generators, un-interruptible power supply units and back-up power systems.
Maintain test results and a log of all services performed.
Participate in, respond to and complete Help Tickets assigned to the department, including but are not limited to the repair, maintain and installation of office furniture, carpentry, wall repairs and painting, door adjustments, replacement and repair of door hardware, and mechanical maintenance of HVAC and electrical systems.
Act as a liaison for external vendors and internal stakeholder.
Share on-call schedule and duties with team members as needed.
NOTE STCU reserves the right to change or assign other duties to this position.
Qualifications Education: Associates degree preferred.
Certifications BOC or other related certifications preferred.
Job Experience: Minimum of three years’ experience in a facilities maintenance or technician role or equivalent role required.
Experience in directly related trades preferred.
Software Skills: Proficient knowledge of MS Office programs including Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams.
Equipment Skills: Ability to operate a keyboard and mouse Physical Demands: Must be able to regularly talk, hear and operate a computer, keyboard and mouse and occasionally lift, pull/push and carry up to 50 pounds with accommodations.
Work Conditions: Exposure to constant or intermittent sounds at a low or moderate level consistent with an office setting.
Exposure to high-stress, fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
Travel Demands: Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel to branch locations, stores, etc.
which may include overnight visits.
Other: Perform additional duties as assigned for the efficient operation of the department and the organization.
This includes the possibility of being assigned temporarily to other locations.
