Our valued customers include leading businesses such as Schweitzer Resort and Kaniksu Health, well respected general contractors / custom home builders, and homeowners throughout Bonner County.
We are expanding our team and seeking a licensed *Journeyman Electrician* (with a current card in Idaho) with a *target* *start date in Oct '23 - Jan '24*.
As a Journeyman Electrician at Panhandle Electric, you will gain hands-on experience leading and supporting a mix of residential, commercial, and industrial electrical contracting projects with support and mentorship from a Master Electrician with 30+ years of experience.

*What We’re Seeking:*
A Journeyman Electrician interested in joining a growing, entrepreneurial, and family-oriented team at a merit-based electrical contractor that wants to be based in or near Sandpoint.
*Qualifications:*
· Active Journeyman License in Idaho (or ability to obtain one within 30 days of joining)
· 5 – 10+ years’ experience in the electrical trade
· Current driver’s license
· Physically adept to complete the typical duties of electrical services, including crawling in crawl spaces or attics, climbing ladders, carrying tools, etc.
· Professionalism with colleagues and clients
· A background check will be conducted prior to employment
*Responsibilities:*
· Developing project schedules and monitoring and adjusting as needed
· Contributing to electrical installations and leading others during installation and troubleshooting
· Installing electrical circuits, as well as panels, conduit, protecting devices, switches, and equipment required in commercial, residential, and/or industrial applications
· Testing electrical and equipment and parts for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance
· Installing, repairing, or replacing generators and industrial storage batteries
· Ensuring compliance with electrical codes
· Promoting high quality and safety standards
· Problem-solving and critical thinking, including a solution-oriented approach
