If this sounds like the right opportunity to further your skills, apply today! *ABOUT THE POSITION: *The Maintenance Assistant has immediate eyes on the daily operations of the facilities.
The Maintenance Assistant can perform all maintenance duties at the Schneidmiller House and the Administrative Building, including, if necessary, all laundry and housekeeping duties.
The Maintenance Assistant is required to coordinate all tasks through and work in conjunction with the Facilities Manager and the Schneidmiller House Clinical Supervisor in the absence of the Facilities Manager.
They are responsible for the overall cleanliness, appearance and operation of the Schneidmiller House and the Administration Building and grounds.
The Maintenance Assistant will understand and adhere to the philosophy of end-of-life care at Hospice of North Idaho.
*MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: *A high school diploma or equivalent is required with the ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
Facilities maintenance experience of 1-3 years preferred.
Valid driver’s license, personal vehicle for on-the-job transportation, and evidence of insurance coverage as required by HONI policy required.
