What you'll do
The Medical Assistant is responsible for providing quality health care services to all residents including assessing somatic conditions, delivering medications according to procedure and creating a favorable group climate for the effective treatment of each resident in treatment.
This position supports the Behavioral Health Division of Pioneer Human Services by performing administrative and supervisory tasks to support the provision of quality and cost effective medical services to behavioral health clients.
What you'll bring
(Any Equivalent Combination of Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, and Experience)
Required
GED or High School Diploma.
Washington State Medical Assistant Certification.
Must be sensitive, receptive, and mature enough to be neither upset by the clients, nor cause the clients further adjustment difficulties.
Must maintain an attitude toward interactions with residents that is objective, free from personal bias; one that allows for perspective and flexibility in observing groups and individual behavior patterns
Preferably you'll bring
Behavioral Health or rehabilitation experience desired.
6 months working in a residential setting
