If you want to have a positive impact in the lives of others come join us! ADULT OUTPATIENT Our Adult Outpatient Services uses a person-centered model of care to assist individuals 18 or older who are experiencing mental health issues.
We strive to pair each individual's treatment objectives with evidence-based clinical practices in a practical fashion.
A high priority is placed on developing therapeutic relationships that promote resiliency and recovery.
Services include: Individual Therapy Group Therapy Psychoeducational Classes Special population consultations and evaluations Case Management Psychiatric medication management Peer Support Specialists In this position, the Mental Health Clinician II will provide trauma-informed, person-centered counseling/case management to clients served within an FBH outpatient program.
Develop and implement treatment plans, coordinate and assist the client with obtaining services, provide client education, and conduct risk assessments while measuring client progress toward established goals and objectives in virtual, office, or community-based settings, ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES includes but are not limited to the following.
Provide episodic, trauma-informed, person-centered therapy utilizing evidence-based practices.
Maintain client records and all other required documentation in a timely and confidential manner, in accordance with agency policies and practices.
Conduct risk assessments, develop and implement safety plans, and provide crisis intervention and stabilization services as needed, including facilitating access to inpatient facilities for behavioral health care.
Facilitate and co-facilitate client treatment groups.
Represent the agency and its services to the community in a positive and professional manner.
Participate in required staff meetings, including regular supervision and weekly clinical staff meetings.
Participate in any required training, consultation calls, and onsite visits or reviews when required by contract.
Accept delegation and follow through with specific expanded assignments and responsibilities within FBH system such as quality improvements teams, task groups, committees, consultations, mentoring or training responsibilities.
Include the client’s support network and applicable involved community partners in treatment and any applicable care coordination.
Receive referrals from Behavioral Health Specialists.
Collaborate with the Behavioral Health Specialist and the treatment team on any needed updates to the care plan.
Coordinate with treatment team regarding treatment progress and discharge planning and operate as a member of multi-disciplinary team.
Meet productivity standards in accordance with agency program guidelines.
Operate as a member of multi-disciplinary team and ensure services are provided in the community, virtually, and clinical setting in compliance with any treatment models.
May be assigned to supervise interns.
Maintain professional credentials, including continuing education as applicable.
Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL HAVE: REQUIRED: Master's degree in psychology, counseling, social work or related field from accredited college or university.
Must apply for Agency Affiliation within 30 days of hire.
PREFERRED: Two years of experience providing clinical behavioral health services.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: Knowledge of service delivery models including groups, skills training, brief/focused therapy, community-based intervention for children and/or adults with serious and persistent mental health diagnoses.
Knowledge of Washington Administrative Codes and statutes pertaining to the treatment and delivery of mental health services.
Knowledge of and experience providing evidence-based psychotherapy modalities.
Ability to communicate and engage effectively with individuals of varied backgrounds, traumatic experiences, cultures, education level and socio-economic status.
Some positions require travel between work sites or to see clients in the community - Must have reliable transportation, insurance and an active driver's license and be willing to use personal vehicle in the course of work.

This position provides client services in-office and within the community at large on a occasional to frequent basis.
Community settings include but are not limited to residences, group/congregate living settings, hospitals, shelters, the streets or anywhere in the community at large.
Some environments may not be ideal in terms of cleanliness or being habitable.
Occasional frequent travel between locations is required.
The ability to drive a vehicle, traverse distances up to several city blocks and on various terrains, navigate stairs, get in and out of vehicles frequently is required.
Daily use of a computer is required.
May be required to lift 10 - 20 pounds.
PAY RANGE (Hourly/ Non-Exempt):* Mental Health Clinician II - No Licensure: $30.
91 - $34.
79 Mental Health Clinician III - Licensure: $32.
72 - $36.
82 *All pay is based on longevity at Frontier Behavioral Health; thus the starting pay is as follows: Mental Health Clinician II - No Licensure: $30.
91 per hour Mental Health Clinician III - Licensure: $32.
72 per hour This position is eligible for quarterly productivity incentives.
