Meals on Wheels Spokane is currently seeking a Program Manager.
The qualified candidate is responsible for the oversight and logistics of daily operation of the Meals on Wheels Spokane delivery service program ensuring client meals are delivered as planned and on time.

The applicant must be able to meet the following requirements: * a High School Diploma or a General Education Degree.
* A minimum of 1-3 years’ related experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Demonstrated superior customer service skills including the ability to perceive needs and respond appropriately to a highly diverse community.
Responsibilities: * 1.
Prepares route sheets and schedules for frozen and hot food delivery and coordinates meals with regards to location of recipient, i.
e.
meals for clients in same apartment complex or same neighborhoods are delivered together in the same batch and makes corrections as needed.
* Provides special dietary food labels and the daily kitchen report for the food service team.
* Prepares, packs, and stages delivery route folders/materials for the volunteers the following day.
* Must ensure recipients of the program are receiving hot, frozen, liquid and shelf stable meals as needed.
* Maintains accurate records, reports, statistics of inventory per liquid and meal that are sent out each month.
* Ensures delivery of Welcome Letter and clients start-up materials.
Ie cooler, monthly menu, etc.
* Maintains accurate routing of delivery areas to ensure the program is being fully and efficiently utilized.
* Works closely with client’s apartment complex managers as well as food vendors.
* Assists with processing and verifying intake of new clients into the program; including data entry into the MOW computer program and updating client information as needed to maintain accurate records.
* Prepares monthly menu information that is sent to clients.
* Plans and oversees special holiday deliveries for participants and ensures the distribution of Senior Center information to clients about holiday activities along with their meals.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $18.
