Registered Dental Hygienist

Duties: - Perform dental hygiene procedures, including teeth cleaning, scaling, and polishing - Take x-rays - Assess patients' oral health and provide appropriate treatment recommendations - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care - Administer local anesthesia - Maintain accurate patient records - Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment - Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care Skills: - Proficiency in pediatric dental care - Knowledge of dental assisting techniques and procedures - Familiarity with medical imaging for dental diagnosis - Ability to take and record vital signs accurately - Strong understanding of infection control practices in a dental setting - Skilled in performing aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
