Job Description
The Facility Maintenance Helper is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, repairing and installing building wiring and assisting with the repair or replacement of associated building machinery, equipment, and general facilities maintenance duties.
Qualifications
Basic Mechanical Aptitude required
Must be able to follow instruction
The ability to perform work involving power tools, ladders, and other equipment as needed
Ability to organize work flow on a daily basis is required
Manual dexterity and ability to operate equipment, and understand proper use of various power equipment and tools
Ability to work with little supervision
Self-motivated to ensure building and surroundings are attractive, clean, and well functioning
Positive attitude; takes pride and ownership in job
Ability to think and act quickly, problem solve, and perform effectively under pressure while maintaining a professional, helpful, and poised demeanor.
Preferred previous experience in light construction work, plumbing, electrical, or HVAC but not required

Job Requirements
Education and Experience
Formal trade training preferred.
Minimum age of 18 years.
Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend instructions in English, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out one- or two-step instructions.
Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.

Full Time 6pm - 3pm, willing to work weekend rotation as needed
40 hours a week.
