is seeking a qualified Full time Diesel Technician/Mechanic to add to our team! Essential Duties: • Repair and maintain diesel trucks in a Fleet environment • Trouble shoot, diagnose, and repair engines, transmissions and electrical components • Preventive maintenance • Keep required maintenance logs • Repair trailers and reefer units • Must have experience as a diesel technician and tools • Class A CDL endorsement is a plus, but not required Qualifications: ~Ability to work in an enclosed mechanic bay exposed to welding fumes and smoke, diesel exhaust and machine noise ~Ability to work in non-climate controlled conditions is required ~Ability to read, write and communicate in English as it relates to the job and safety regulations is required ~Visual and hearing abilities required as it relates to the job and safety regulations ~Frequently stand/walk during shift; frequently bend, twist, and squat during shift ~Frequently lift using both hands/arms reaching, grasping and carrying, weights up to 30 lbs.
