*Division Sales Manager *
Meyer Laboratory is seeking a self-directed, highly driven individual with a proven track record of success to join our Meyer family as Division Sales Manager.
Reporting to the National Sales Director, this role will make an impact by leading a team of Outside Sales Reps and Account Managers to grow their territories and gross profit for the division.
The right candidate will be one that is self-directed, has a proven track record of success in leading sales teams to grow gross profit, exhibits our 4 core values of being competitive, authentic, impactful family, and fosters a growth minded family culture within their division.
*Duties & Responsibilities *
* The first few months will be spent selling (training program) to learn our products and the Meyer sales process.
After successful completion of the training program, you will transition into your full leadership roll.
* Provide leadership and coaching to a team of field sales & service representatives to accomplish divisional sales objectives in assigned territories.
* Provide strategic direction for new business growth in the region.
Establish sales objectives for your team members by creating a sales plan for each territory in support of national objectives.
* Maintain and expand customer base by coaching territory sales representatives, building and maintaining rapport with key customers and identifying new customer opportunities.
* This is a very ‘hands-on’ leadership position where you will be working in the field with your team each week visiting accounts, coaching on selling, and rolling up your sleeves to help with demos and service.
*Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities *
* 5+ years of proven success in managing an Outside Sales team with a successful track record of exceeding goals through coaching and leading a team to excellence.
* Excellent work history
* Commitment to team-oriented outcomes and quality customer service
* Have and maintain a valid driver’s license
* Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and accuracy
* Mechanical aptitude to include minor electrical & plumbing
* Able to learn how to rebuild pressure washers, arch systems and chemical dispensers – training provided
* Strong sense of urgency and initiative
* Must be highly flexible and able to operate in an environment of constant change
*Travel & Physical Requirements*
* Must be available for 75% travel with 50% being overnight travel
* Lifting required up to 50 lbs regularly
* The territory for the team members you will be leading includes – Washington, Oregon, Northern Idaho, Northern Nevada, & Northern California
